❓ What is "Normalized" FFMI?

FFMI stands for Fat-Free Mass Index. Unlike standard BMI, it excludes body fat weight to objectively evaluate your pure muscle mass. However, the traditional formula tends to give higher scores to taller individuals. Our calculator provides the "Normalized FFMI", adjusting for height to ensure a fair evaluation regardless of stature.

🧮 FFMI Calculation Process

  1. Lean Body Mass (LBM):
    Weight × (1 - Body Fat % ÷ 100)
  2. Standard FFMI:
Lean Body Mass ÷ Height (m)²
  3. Height Correction (Normalized):
    Standard FFMI + 6.1 × (1.8 - Height (m))
